Forest Theme Prewedding at FRIM . Dickson & Sarah

2 weeks ago we did the forest theme prewedding  photo session of Dickson & Sarah in the Forest Research Institute Malaysia( FRIM).  This was not the first time we photoshoot here so we quite familiar with the place . Thus we know exactly which spots was suitable for our set up and props. We brought along some wooden suitcases as props as well as some new hair accessories which we think these might suit the shooting theme. Complimentary props and hair accesories upon sign up our any prewedding plan .

The Cotswolds is home to some of the most unspoilt, historic and famous towns and villages in England. Beautiful countryside, chic accommodation, colourful markets, quirky events and shopping…. The stunning towns and villages of the Cotswolds will always surprise you!

Special thanks to Alex & Zhen Mei chosen Cotswold for pre wedding shoot, wonderful places for wedding photography. We went to few places like Bath, Bibury, Burford, Bourton-on-the-water…etc. I personally love Bourton-on-the-water, it’s has the “Venice of the Cotswold” because of the attractive little bridges that cross the gently flowing River through the centre of the village. FOREST THEME PREWEDDING ( FRIM)

Last week we did the forest theme prewedding (FRIM) photo session of Jillian & Kenneth in the Forest Research Institute Malaysia. It’s is a statutory agency of the Government of Malaysia, under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.We prepared the timing of everything, from the details of suit, dress, props to the venue. As they based in Australia and they love the countryside of Australia so we decided to get lost in the forest and scout out intimate corners to make romantic photographs. We got some beautiful light at sunrise. We brought along some wooden suitcases as props which we think the props match the forest theme so much. All these props available for free upon sign up our any prewedding plan . We hope you all love this set of photos.

PREWEDDING . KAVANNA & SASSHA . LAFAME

We were happy & congratulate to our best friend Kavanna & Sassha. We known the couple for many years and finally they both engaged few month back. Kavanna & Sassha also from wedding industry, they both are famous photographer & make up artist. Recently we had upgraded & built a few beautiful scenes for Pre Wedding. It comes with different concepts, feeling and character. Doing a indoor pre-wedding shoot in LaFame Bridal Mansion for this couple is awesome fun. We love it as we have been know each other for years and the couple felt comfortable with us taking their photo. It is also a great way for couple to get to spend a fun shooting day together shooting in our mansion, without all the pressures of shooting outdoor. We can play with styling, props and themes. We just know that it is our privilege to get to photograph this lovely couple.

Osaka & Kyoto Sakura Season Prewedding

Osaka & Kyoto Sakura season prewedding !

Osaka , a city celebrated for its humming party scene and great restaurants and street food, a trip to Osaka is fantastic place to be when the cherry blossom arrives. With thousands of trees planted along the Osaka Castle, the riverside promenades and gardens are great spots for enjoying the view and off course for prewedding photo shoot.

Paris & Amsterdam Oversea Prewedding 

Once again we travel for one whole month for oversea shooting assignment. We can’t wait to share with you all some highlight images we’ve created in these days. We’ve been travelled to 3 different countries,  Japan ( Osaka & Kyoto ) – France ( Paris ) –  Nevertheland ( Amsterdam )  and back to KL again in 3rd May 2017.

Capturing love of Nicole’s Family

We have a fun shooting session session with Nicole’s family at our studio last week . We set up the studio with last props ( wooden suitcases and flowers ).

Iceland Prewedding by Lafame . Lucious & Joanne

 

Iceland has been a hot spot lately for photographers and couples. We were so stunned by the earth’s natural beauty. We flew our favourite makeup artist , See Ling for the whole trip to do make up and styling for Joanne.

We had 3 unforgettable shooting days with the couple. As usual, we love to have a mixture of bridal and casual wear shooting in most of our shooting assignment.  The weather in Iceland are unlike anything I’ve worked with before . It is located about one kilometre (0.6 miles) off the country’s northwestern coast, at the mouth of the Couesnon River near Avranches and is 100 hectares (247 acres) in size.  Its unique position — on an island just 600 metres from land — made it accessible at low tide . This is one of France’s most recognizable landmarks, visited by more than 3 million people each year, Mont Saint-Michel and its bay are on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

Besides, we also travel to Prague and this was our third time shooting in Prague.   Prague is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic. Besides, Prague has the lowest unemployment rate in the European Union. Thus it’s safer to have prewedding shooting here compared to Paris.  Main shooting attractions include the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square with the Prague astronomical clock,  and Petřín hill. Since 1992, the extensive historic centre of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

PreWedding. Leia & Eddie

Listen to Leia & Eddie love story remind me a Hong Kong drama “Triumph in the skies”. Leia from JB work as air stewardess work for Emirates Airline and Eddie from KL work for an IT company in Dubai for 7 years. Their first met on the air craft and the love cupid join 2 hearts together at 36000 feet heights.  Due to their busy schedule, they only meeting each other once a month. After few years of long distance relationship, they finally decided to tide the knots and settle down in Dubai.  Nothing is more beautiful than two people who are truly and honestly in love.

Prewedding . August & Kenny

“Just finished our pre wedding and wedding day event, a very lovely thanks to LaFame Bridal Mansion team. Especially their professional photographer, Mr Edmund Tham. We were grateful our lovely couple entrusting us to capture the moments on their pre wedding and wedding day. Kenny working in US and August were in KL, Kenny only back to KL 2 weeks before the wedding. That’s the reason why we need to rush for their Pre Wedding shoot and album within 10 days.

You know some weddings are going to be fun before you even arrive on the day.  August & Kenny wedding was one of those.  It might be because we know some their family members before the wedding, we had a family portrait session before the wedding 2 days before the wedding and their family members are very friendly, or it might be because the couple themselves are so down to earth, relaxed and good humoured that you know there is no way this could be a stuffy affair.

Prewedding . Ken & Panny . LaFame

We were recently talking to cinematography friend of ours, Ken Chan & Panny who are going to be married soon on 25th August 2016 . We mentioned that we would like to have a prewedding shooting for this couple. They promised without any hesitation. Ken Chan, a well-known cinematographer from Ken Chan Production , who travels internationally for wedding assignments. We were travel to Paris , Mt. St. Michel & Prague last month for prewedding shooting. It’s indeed a wonderful working trip together.
 
Doing a indoor pre-wedding shoot in LaFame Bridal Mansion for this couple is awesome fun. We love it as we have been know each other for years and the couple felt comfortable with us taking their photo. It is also a great way for couple to get to spend a fun shooting day together shooting in our mansion, without all the pressures of shooting outdoor. We can play with styling, props and themes. We just know that it is our privilege to get to photograph this lovely couple .

9 Months in the making. Maternity

When the beautiful mother to be Cindy contacted me to told me that she pregnant early this year. We so decided to document this special time right from the beginning.

Being captured Cindy & Jim wedding end of 2015. Now, we captured the maternity sessions for her and newborn session probably in 2 months time. I feel so honoured to have been there to share in these incredible moments with this family.

Photography is so important in telling a family story, whether these life events are big or small, the pictures we take today will be seen by next generation – these images will become so much more powerful & meaningful with each passing day…

Debbie & Johan , Jeeva Saba, Bali Wedding

A wedding on new year eve? Sounds a bit odd but that’s normal case in Bali. Debbie & Johan choose new year eve for wedding is to celebrate wedding and new year with their wedding party and yet their loved ones in Bali. They held the wedding at Jeeva Saba (a private villa) for the event to make sure all their guests can stay and enjoy until the last drop of wine is served.

On their big day, fairies danced wearing rubber flip-flops and butterflies sprung out of seashells showing the wind how to fly. The event end with beautiful fireworks at 12 midnight. Happy New Year… From start to finish, this jolly occasion radiates warmth and intimacy. Everyone has already flown thousands of miles from home, not only for the wedding, but also to spend an extra day or week for holiday.
